“WISH to Ignite: Passion, Resilience, and Boundless Possibilities” brought together students, educators, researchers, and community leaders for UConn Waterbury’s 2025 WISHfest, a day dedicated to inspiring personal growth, innovation, and community engagement. Hosted in partnership with the City of Waterbury and Waterbury Public Schools, the event featured motivational speakers, interactive exhibits, hands-on STEM activities, career exploration opportunities, and engaging discussions that encouraged attendees to pursue their passions, overcome challenges, and embrace new opportunities. Through student showcases, experiential learning experiences, and collaborations with community partners, WISHfest 2025 fostered curiosity, celebrated perseverance, and empowered participants to envision a future filled with limitless potential and meaningful impact.
